gettingtechnical.com was founded in 1997 by Bill Carrigan who
in the early 1980’s participated in the development of
technical analysis software and the real time delivery of stock
and index prices via satellite.
Bill Carrigan joined Marketfax Info Service in 1985 and assisted
in the development of their interactive PC on-line stock charting
service. In 1987 Bill Carrigan joined Southam Communications
to assist in the development of the transmission of real time
stock quotations via satellite. The system was sold to Signal
Corp. (Data Broadcasting).
Bill Carrigan writes a weekly column for the Sunday edition
of the Toronto Star.
Mr. Carrigan has been producing Getting Technical Market Newsletter
since December 1998.
Instructor for the Canadian Securities Institute and Technical
Analyst consultant for industry professional.
